Erwann TOBIE and Heikki BOURGAULT 

 

In concert as well as at fest-noz (dance festivals), when you bring Erwann and Heikki together on stage, you witness a constant dialogue between two instruments serving melody and, when appropriate, dance. Their goal? To share with the audience their pleasure in playing together and their perspective on today's traditional music: a music rich in its past but resolutely rooted in the present... Since 2019, and after three years of accompanying singer Yann-Fañch Kemener on his latest creations, Erwann Tobie and Heikki Bourgault have been breathing a breath of fresh air and poetry into contemporary Breton music. Throughout festoù-noz (dances) and concerts, their compositions with their original acoustic flavors have captivated a wide audience.

SOLAS

Solas will celebrate 30 years of performing music and concerts around the world! The Irish-American band has been hailed by the Boston Globe as "the finest Celtic band this country has ever produced" and by the Wall Street Journal as "the traditional Irish band bearing all the hallmarks of greatness." Since its founding in New York in 1995, Solas has remained a fixture on the Irish and American musical landscape, a source of talent and inspiration that has led to new offerings in musicianship, repertoire, and intensity. Through twelve critically acclaimed albums and countless international tours, Solas has shared with the world its love and respect for the traditions of Irish music, as well as its American sense of melodic and instrumental adventure. In 2017, after a remarkable two-decade career, the band decided it was time to take a break. Today, after eight years, that hiatus is over, and Solas is back, celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2025 with a new world tour!
